Thinking Skills in Language EducationOn 25 - 31 Jan 2009, Irina Buchinska, Edgar Lasevich and Alexander Sokol ran a residential course Thinking Skills in Language Education included in the Comenius / Grundtvig catalogue of the European Commission. The course introduced the main principles of the Thinking Approach and provided the participants with plenty of hands-on activities. The main focus was on the work with texts, however the participants had a chance to learn about other TA technologies as well. In addition to the intensive learning programme, the participants were offered a number of social activities to choose from. The course was very well received and we hope to work with the course participants in the future. You can see some photos from the event below. Kirsi (Finland) and Susan (Finland)
